Hello Everyone,
I hope all is going well with your preparations and hope you are comfortable using the blog. Perhaps you might like to post an introductory message so that we can be sure it's working?
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Jane, was at the awsd agm today, Saturday.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to learning with you. (I'm learning to blog too!)
hi all
ReplyDeletejust complete my first go used silk top, not too bad result, the dyd did not get into the centre of the top, not sure if I did not soak it for long enough as the dye was all round the outside but not in the centre of the top
This might have been that the top was not soaked well enough, as you suggest, or it might be that the dye wasn't worked through to the middle of the top. It is a good idea to carefully turn the top over and squidge the colour in from the back as well as the front. I soak my silk tops for about 48 hours before dyeing with them as they are quite difficult to wet all the way through.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the result will still be lovely!
