I hope you all managing well.

There will be a photo in the gallery of the first colour going onto my warp . The warp has been made, tied carefully in the cross and at other spots, and tied loosely where I want the colour to penetrate. It is a balance between keeping order in the warp and avoiding unwanted white spots. It was soaked in water with a tablespoon of vinegar added, to activate the acid dyes, laid in the gutter and then I began to add the dyes.

If you are dyeing top, skeins or fibres you don't have to worry quite so much about keeping the yarns in order.
